BARTER ZONE

PLANT GIVEAWAY Please bring native & fruit trees suitable for this climate to give away to local landowners to take back to their land.

Norton Buffalo Hall, the home of Paradise Community Guilds, burned to the ground in the Camp Fire of 2018. The Guilds hosts multiple community gardens, open mic nights, potlucks, workshops, concerts, and classes, “fostering community by nurturing creativity, practicing stewardship of Nature, and promoting values of sustainability."

This free, family-friendly day of action to plant and build new gardens and infrastructure at the Paradise Community Guilds is part of a larger 10-day camp to restore land, homes, and common spaces around Butte County affected by the Camp Fire.

Rising Appalachia Music will be sounding the call to action at their Northern California concerts in Arcata, Petaluma, Nevada City, and Berkeley, and will be joining us on-the-ground. Lukas Nelson and other artists will similarly be calling the Northern California community to action in Paradise at concerts and performances in the weeks before the action day.

This action day is a collaboration between the Camp Fire Restoration Project and Permaculture Action Network.

Please feel free to bring tools, work gloves, and potluck items to share, but do not feel obligated! Bringing a water bottle and even reusable dishware is wise. If you plan to attend the Fall Campout* beyond the action day, read on below.

Please note, here are BEEHIVES on site, bring your own epipen if you are allergic. They are minimally active around the grounds, but there is always a risk!
